Sébastien Latreille est un photographe basé à proximité de Montréal au Canada. Il s'intéresse à la frontière entre le rêve et la réalité, cette zone trouble où les perceptions s'embrouillent et les repères s'effritent. Sébastien produit des images singulières, où ce qui peut sembler à priori familier ne l'est jamais vraiment tout à fait. Il trouve son inspiration dans la musique, les arts visuels, la culture populaire ainsi que ses souvenirs d'enfance. Son travail s'articule autour de la photographie de paysage, la mise en scène et la nature morte.

Sébastien Latreille is a fine art photographer based near Montreal, Canada. He is interested in the frontier between reality and dream, that gray area where perceptions get blurred and landmarks begin to weaken. Sebastien produces offbeat images where the seemingly mundane turns out to be slightly alien. He finds inspiration in music, the visual arts, pop culture and his childhood memories. His work is divided between landscapes, cinematic staged scenes and still lifes.
